The Sino-Nordic Cup Football Tournament is a yearly event held to celebrate the ongoing diplomatic relations between China and the Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The Sino-Nordic Cup Football Tournament has been established in 2015 and is organized jointly by the Department of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Global Times. 12 teams took part in the latest 5-aside tournament on September 23, 2017 on the sports ground of the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
